International Women’s Ministries Heritage Day

The anniversary of Women’s Ministries provides an excellent opportunity to honor the dedicated, courageous women who pioneered many wonderful ministries. It is a time to reflect upon what God has done and how He continues to use women in the expansion of the Kingdom.
With the approval of the pastor, plan programs, banquets, etc., that recognize the ministry of outstanding women in the congregation. See the Women’s Ministries Resource Catalog for program ideas.
Our goal is to pass along our spiritual heritage through international conferences and the translation, publication and distribution of Women’s Ministries materials. An offering for this purpose should be received and sent to the state Women’s Ministries president.
Note: It is suggested that Women’s Ministries Heritage Day be celebrated on or around our anniversary date, October 6. However, it may be celebrated at any convenient time.
